My Other Trips

I like to hike outside of Alabama too. In 1999 I did 30 miles or so in the Magdalena Mountain in New Mexico, 25 miles with my mother on the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail along the coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, a few day hikes in the Laguna Mountains of southern California, and 30 miles with my brother in the Cohutta Wilderness in Northern Georgia. So far I've only included my report from the Cohutta and from several trips I took in Colorado last summer.

Cohutta Wilderness. Two and a half days and thirty miles with my brother. (12/99)

Trekking in Colorado. Trips in Never Summer Wilderness, Lost Creek Wilderness, Pawnee Grasslands, Never Summer Wilderness. (8/00)
